Technology innovation is emerging trend in today’s world, which is the main reason people constantly change, updating their tech devices to the latest models and dispose the old one.

They can be university students, IT technicians with low budget, whose demand is simply as a well-functioned laptop for basic uses as coding, website browsing, entertainment, etc.

How can we make use of your old equipment?

We are Laptop Recycle, functioning in the field of IT reusing, refurbishing and recycling, with an aim to taking care of unwanted devices and giving to those who are in need.

Our idea is simple as:

1. Collecting: we gather wide range of e-waste from the local areas, either at our drop off center or by our pick up service.

2. Status evaluating: after collecting, our specialists will then sort and check the current condition of IT devices to know if it is reusable or not.

3. Refurbishing: if the equipment is reusable, we clean, refurbish and make a few upgrades if necessary. Device’s quality and performance will be re-checked one more time before going on purchase. As we have Refurbished license by Microsoft, once the devices are on the shelf, they are well-functioned and ready to serve.

4. Recycling: in case the equipment is too old to reuse, i.e some part are broken, we will dismantle the device and take out components that work such as sound and graphic cards, circuit board, DVD writers, hard disks, and RAM for recycling purpose.

5. Selling: Almost all refurbished items and recycled components are resold to resellers, brokers, recyclers and corporate end users via our sales team and third-party websites. We also sell direct to consumers through Trademe, our retail website (www.onlylaptop.co.nz), and Facebook marketplace.

How can you donate your used devices to us?

• Individual: If you have unused devices, feel free to bring to us at the drop off center:

• Corporate

If you are a corporate with a large amount of outdated equipment which need to giveaway, we can come and pick up freely for more than 10 devices in Auckland area. What you need to do is filling in the Corporate pickup Form to request our coming.
